Fake cop accused of pulling over deputy
Florida man arrested after ordering sheriff's detective to pull
A Florida man accused of impersonating an officer chose the wrong motorist to pull over.
Matthew Michael Lee McMahon, 20, turned on a red and blue light Monday while driving behind an unmarked St. Johns County sheriff's car, according to First Coast News.
When Detective Chance Anderson pulled over, he was shocked to see an unknown face behind the wheel.
Anderson has actually arrested several police impersonators throughout his 10-year career, but told First Coast News none had ever ordered him to stop his car.
McMahon has been charged with impersonating an officer and unlawfully displaying blue lights.
