Mayor caught tossing dog poo in neighbor's yard

Neighbor had 'No poop zone' sign hanging outside his home

The mayor of a California town is under fire after he allegedly tossed a bag of dog feces on his neighbor's yard.

Dennis Kneier, the mayor of the small and wealthy town of San Marino, California, was seen on neighbor Philip Lao's surveillance video throwing the small baggie of dog exrament onto Lao's private walkway leading to his home, Reuters reported. Lao noticed the bag on his walkway and then checked the footage, identifying Kneier as the tosser.

Lao called the police but does not intend to press any charges, police said.

The L.A. Times reports that Lao claims the mayor and other residents have not been "happy" with him since he placed a "No poop zone" sign outside his home.
