D'oh! Fleeing man runs into police academy

Academy was in session at the time; Mississippi man promptly

A Mississippi man fleeing a traffic stop unknowingly ran into a law enforcement academy, sealing his own fate.

Roger Beasley, Jr., 30, was stopped by officers on U.S. 90 in Biloxi last Wednesday, The Sun-Herald newspaper reported.

He jumped from his vehicle and ran, apparently not noticing the marked squad cars outside the Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy.

The academy was in session when Beasley ran in, and he was promptly arrested.

Beasley was booked on charges including possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, resisting arrest and careless driving.
