The family of a Brazilian man who was pronounced dead by doctors was shocked to learn that he was actually alive and breathing inside a body bag.
Valdelucio Gonçalves de Oliveira, 54, was pronounced dead by doctors from respiratory failure and multiple organ failure , reports News.com.au.
But when the brother of the "deceased" arrived at the hospital morgue to dress the body, he discovered that the body bag containing his brother was moving.
Gonçalves was in the hospital getting treatment for cancer. While in the hospital, he became ill and was taken to the emergency room, where doctors thought he then passed away.
The Menandro de Farias Hospital is investigating the incident.
