Police: Worker hid $1,200 worth of meat in pants

Employee charged with fourth-degree grand larceny

Police say a supermarket employee left the store with $1,200 worth of meat hidden in his pants.

Gregory Rodriguez, of Ossining, New York, is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Police were called to the store after someone called them about the theft. Rodriguez was arrested the following day. Rodriguez was arraigned Tuesday night and is currently in the county jail. He is due back in court his week.
