Shopping is a pleasure at Publix. A survey by the research and consulting firm, Market Force Information ranked Publix second as America's best supermarket behind Trader Joe's. Rounding out the top 3, Aldi, the discount chain headquartered in Essen, Germany.
The Lakeland based grocery chain is the largest employee-owned grocer in the U.S. with $30.6 billion in sales in 2014.
