The social joined three of the Mayo Clinic's departments together.

Patients, caregivers and clinic staff from neurosurgery, neurology and the cancer center shared experiences, along with the latest breakthroughs in treatment and research.

One of those experiences shared came from a recent brain tumor survivor. He spoke about the support he received and the role faith played in his recovery.

Two physicians shared the impact they're making in the new procedures that were created and using the technologies to fight the disease.
