"Star Wars" trailer boosts Disney's stock

Disney stock is up $2 billion

The new trailer for "Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens," has boosted Disney's stock.  Factually reports, stocks for the giant company are up $2 billion. 

Analysts believe the seventh installment of the series will do well at the box office.  They think the movie could be as big as "Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope."  "A New Hope," was the first of the originally six movies to be released; but it's the fourth episode of the "Star Wars" series.  It was released in 1977.

The managing editor of IMDB, Keith Simanton, believes "The Force Awakens" will break multiple records, such as the most money made over opening weekend and the most money made by a film. 

Currently  Marvel's "The Avengers", released in 2012, holds the record for earning the most money during opening weekend and according to IMDB, "Avatar" is the highest grossing film ever, earning more than $76 million. 

"Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens" premieres December 18, 2015.
