Nissan owners could get $500 in compensation if eligible

MIAMI – If you're a Nissan owner, you could be eligible to receive $500, Local10.com reports.

The car giant will pay $98 million in a class-action settlement to owners who suffered economic losses due to defective air bags.

USA Today reports that Nissan owners will also be eligible for financial aid to get their vehicles fixed. That includes reimbursement of expenses for child care, towing and transportation.

Owners of affected Nissan cars will also receive a free rental car while their own vehicle is being repaired.

  • 2017 Armada

  • 2009-2017 Infiniti QX56/QX80
