Publix resumes normal hours at Jacksonville area locations

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The majority of Jacksonville area Publix locations have resumed normal store hours, a company spokesman confirmed Thursday.

The Florida-based grocery chain had scaled back hours at many of its locations earlier this week in light of Hurricane Irma, which caused flooding and storm damage across the state.

But a spokesman indicated things have returned to normal at most locations.
