T. Marzetti Company recalls frozen biscuit dough under various brands

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – There's a consumer alert for shoppers.

As a precautionary measure, T. Marzetti Company on Friday voluntarily recalled frozen biscuit dough products packed under various brands due to potential listeria contamination.

Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie stores, also alerted customers about the recall.

The affected products and corresponding UPC codes below are for all Winn-Dixie stores:

SEG Buttermilk Biscuits – 3825911726 (25-ounce/12-pack case)
SEG Southern Style Biscuits – 3825911892 (44-ounce/eight-pack case)

The affected products and corresponding UPC codes below are for all BI-LO and Harveys Supermarket stores:

SEG Buttermilk Biscuits – 3825911726 (25-ounce/12-pack case)
SEG Southern Style Biscuits – 3825911892 (44-ounce/eight-pack case)
SH Buttermilk Frozen Dough Biscuits – 060788070251 (25-ounce/12-pack case)
SH Southern Style Dough Biscuits – 060788070249 (25-ounce/12-pack case)
SH 20-count Southern Style Dough Biscuits – 060788070250 (44-ounce/eight-pack case)
SH 20-count Buttermilk Dough Biscuits – 060788002640 (44-ounce/eight-pack case)

The products were distributed in 12 states, including Florida and Georgia.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled items, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The products should be thrown away or returned to any store for a full refund.
