According to a survey by Aflac.com, 41 percent of workers surveyed spent 15 minutes or less researching their benefit options.

 

In comparison, workers spend much more time on other decisions.

 

According to the Aflac.com survey, workers spent at least five hours researching a mortgage loan. Those surveyed also spent five hours researching vacations.

 

Workers also said they spent 10 hours researching a car purchase.
