Record number of stores to be closed on Thanksgiving

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Instead of working every Thanksgiving, some employees will be able to pass the dressing at the table this Thanksgiving. 

A record number of stores are announcing that they will remain closed on Thanksgiving, allowing employees to spend time with their families on the holiday.

Nearly 100 well-known national and regional retailers will be closed. 

Nearly 48 percent of Americans think stores should be closed on Thanksgiving, BestBlackFriday.com reports
