Student accused of poisoning teacher's drink
Florida teen laced teacher's Diet Coke with Germ X, police say
A Florida teen is accused of poisoning his teacher's drink with hand sanitizer.
The 15-year-old boy, a student at South Walton High School in Santa Rosa Beach, was arrested Tuesday.
He has been charged with poisoning his teacher's Diet Coke with Germ X, the Northwest Florida Daily News reported.
The teacher is fine, although she became physically ill and went to the hospital after drinking the tainted soda.
Walton County Superintendent of Schools Carlene Anderson told the newspaper the boy was a prankster, and didn't mean to hurt the teacher.
He's been suspended pending an expulsion hearing.
