Three Florida universities earn national rankings

UF, Miami and FSU make list

Three Florida schools are among the best of the best.

The University of Florida, University of Miami, and Florida State University all made a list of top 100 colleges in the country.

The list was compiled by Niche.com. The website factored in surveys completed by current students at the universities.

The University of Florida was the highest ranked school in the Sunshine State, earning a national rank of 37. Miami came in at 65 and Florida State was ranked 76. Niche.com also ranked schools by state. University of Central Florida and University of South Florida didn’t make the top 100 list, but they were ranked 4th and 5th in the state, respectively.

Stanford University earned the top slot on the national list, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale University and Harvard University.
