Grads inspire, celebrate with Senior Walk

West Nassau High School seniors walk to elementary school in caps, gowns

CALLAHAN, Fla. – It's time to throw those graduation caps in the air and call it a year.

West Nassau High School graduated Friday and the seniors did something unique to inspire younger students.

In what's known as a “Senior Walk,” the graduating seniors walked to Callahan Elementary School in their caps and gowns, where elementary students were lined up waiting for them.

The elementary students made signs congratulating each high school graduate and cheered as they walked down the hallway.

It was a bittersweet memory for the graduates, as they reflect on how far they have come, and a motivational moment for the elementary school students as they get excited for their future.
