JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The number of homicides in Jacksonville hit double digits again in June with 10 people being killed.
That's up from last year's June number of six homicides.
The 10 June homicide victims include a mother who police said was murdered by her adult son.
So far this year, there have been nearly 70 homicides in Jacksonville with 27 in the first two months of the year, another 18 in March and April and 13 in May.
Below, we have listed the names and ages of the June homicide victims and the information surrounding their deaths. We have also included a photo of each victim, where available.

Monday, June 5
Kenard Hendley, 22
Hendley was shot in the back June 4 at the Moncrief Village Apartments on Flynn Court in Northwest Jacksonville and died June 5 at UF Health Jacksonville. Police later said Hendley and Anthony Finch, 22, were involved in a dice game at the complex and Finch threatened Hendley with a pistol because he was losing money to Hendley. When Hendley tried to run, Finch shot him in the back, police said. Finch has been charged with murder in the case.
Tuesday, June 6
Mary Anne Rolnick, 76
Rolnick, a real estate agent, was found stabbed and strangled in her home on Willesdon Drive West in the Sandalwood area of Jacksonville. Her son, 52-year-old Scott Rolnick Jr., has been charged with her killing. Investigators said Scott Rolnick, who had been evicted earlier this year after stealing from his mother, smashed through the patio doors and attacked her. He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and other charges and was sentenced to life without parole.
Wednesday, June 7
Christopher Bowman, 39
Bowman was killed in a shooting at a home on MacNaughton Drive in the Chimney Lakes neighborhood. Detectives said Bowman was shot at least once after an altercation. Another man was taken in for questioning in the shooting. Police have not said if anyone was arrested, but they are not investigating the case as a murder.
Friday, June 9
Rose Blossom Green, 39
Green was found dead on the property of Master's Touch Ministry on Soutel Drive in Northwest Jacksonville and police said the circumstances of her death were suspicious. They believe her body had been behind the church for a day or two. Her death has been ruled a murder, but no arrests have been made.
Monday, June 12
Edward Clark, 44
Clark was fatally stabbed during an argument over drugs at Beaver and Newnan streets in Downtown Jacksonville. Cody Beatrice, 23, ran from the scene and was caught later by police and charged with Clark's murder. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison. Both men are transients, police said.
Wednesday, June 14
Michael Turner, 33
Turner broke a window at the Club At Town Center Apartments and came into the apartment of his ex-girlfriend, and she shot him multiple times with a handgun, police said. They said she was a previous domestic violence victim. Turner has a history of domestic violence. The ex-girlfriend was questioned and released. Police said it was a case of justifiable homicide.
Thursday, June 15
Daryl Austin, 24
Austin was shot and killed on April Street near 103rd Street in the Jacksonville Heights neighborhood. A green SUV and burgundy car were seen leaving the area, and the SUV was found later and the driver was taken into custody. The driver's name was not release and police have not said if an arrest was made.
Tuesday, June 20
Terry Gibson, 23
Gibson was killed and another man was wounded in a double shooting at an apartment complex on Shenandoah Avenue in the Biltmore area. Police had no description of the shooter.
Sunday, June 25
Darryl Mack, 19
Mack, a recent Mandarin High graduate, was found shot to death in the driver's seat of an SUV on Lem Turner Road about three blocks north of the Ribault River. Mack's mother told News4Jax that she heard from him about 9 p.m. when he told her he was going to pick up a friend. Police did not have any suspect information.
Wednesday, June 28
Henry Martinez, 29
Martinez, a rap musician, was shot to death at the front door of his apartment unit at the Windy Pines Apartments on 103rd Street. Police had no description of the shooter.
