WWE legend Jake 'The Snake' Roberts hospitalized

Wrestling star passed out on plane; diagnosed with double

WWE legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts is hospitalized in intensive care with double pneumonia.

Roberts had been flying to Las Vegas to appear in a show when he passed out on the plane Wednesday, according to WrestlingInc.com.

An ambulance whisked him off to a local hospital, where he was in a coma for 24 hours.

Roberts awoke from the coma Thursday night, but was still "fading in and out" of consciousness, fellow wrestler Sinn Bodhi tweeted.

Doctors have said his lungs are filled with fluid and there is a mass on his brain.

Roberts was a huge WWE star in the 1980s and early 1990s and was inducted into the organization's Hall of Fame prior to Wrestlemania in April.
