Jagger has one great-grandchild

Sir Mick Jagger, 72, is expecting his eighth child with girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, 29, a spokesman confirmed to the BBC.

Jagger already has seven children whose ages range from 17 to 45.  He also has five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Jagger began dating Hamrick, a ballerina, after the suicide of his partner L'Wren Scott in 2014, the BBC reports.

The Rolling Stones frontman was married to Bianca Jagger from 1971-78, and was in long-term relationships with Jerry Hall and Scott, Entertainment Tonight reports.

The news comes two months after bandmate Ronnie Wood, 68, became a father again when his wife, Sally Humphreys, gave birth to twin girls, according to the BBC report.
