JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A world-renowned symbologist, Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks), is dropped into the chaos of his most-challenging mystery since "Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons". This film begins with suspense, as a billionaire, Ben Foster, is running in the streets of Florence, Italy ahead of a group of men intent on catching him. Moments later Foster is dead. Meanwhile, Langdon finds himself injured in a hospital bed, in Florence, Italy. It is revealed that Foster wants to release a dangerous virus to end the progress toward an estimated over-population of the world. The virus will be released within days but no one knows where or by who since Foster is dead. The World Health Organization and other private companies are all depending on Langdon to find the virus and contain it before over half of the population is eliminated. The journey to finding the virus is full of suspense, violence, betrayal and unbelievable twists. Watch closely, and trust no one.
