JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The whole family comes together for Christmas and they bring all of their drama with them. From the unfaithful husband and detached wife, to the angry divorced sister and alcoholic aunt; there are plenty of funny moments with this family. The father played by Danny Glover, is now the glue that keeps the family together following the death of  his wife a year earlier. The upside to this movie is that it is funny, maintains a good pace and is overall entertaining. The downside is at times the vulgar language is too much for small children and some jokes fall flat, but not too often. "Almost Christmas" is the ideal movie for the holiday season.
