Ritz Theatre announces 2017-18 season lineup

List of performers includes Grammy-winning acts

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Ritz Theatre has announced its lineup for the 2017-2018 concert season, which runs from September 2017 to March 2018.

Tickets are available for Grammy-nominated artists such as Bo Henderson and Tierney Sutton. Henderson was the lead singer of the Temptations from 1998-2003 and he performs with “A Temptations Revue featuring Bo Henderson.” Sutton has received six Grammy nominations for “Best Jazz Vocal Album.” Mary Wilson, a founding member of The Supremes, is slated to perform Feb. 3, 2018.

Other performances include musical artists Katie Thiroux and Raul Midon. America's Got Talent finalist Cirque Zuma Zuma will perform which is described as an “African-style circus.” Theater acts include “The Mountaintop,” a play about the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., and “This Wonderful Life” a one-man retelling based off the revered 1946 film, "What a Wonderful Life.”

The Ritz Theatre is owned by SMG, which owns a wide array of arenas, convention center and theaters in several countries. SMG has owned The Ritz Theatre for four years.

SMG Jacksonville General Manager Bill McConnell praised the variety of shows for different types of audiences.
