Movie review: 'Only the Brave' grips heart with story of heroic firemen

19 men died trying to protect hundreds of lives

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Only the Brave (PG-13)

This film gripped my heart. "Only the Brave" is based on the true story of wildfire firemen, known as hotshots, from Prescott, Arizona. In June 2013, the men were battling a wildfire in Yarnell, Arizona, when the fire gained power and killed 19 of the firemen. You will go on a journey through their lives as they struggle to become hotshots and transform into heroes.  The character development and acting leading up to the tragic ending is phenomenal, especially from actors Josh Brolin, Miles Teller and Jennifer Connelly. By the end of the movie, you feel like you are in the mountains with them as they die. Expect an emotional roller coaster for this one. Support this film and the hotshots that died trying to protect others.
