Local restaurants serving 3 course meals during 2 week event

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Downtown's finest restaurants are collaborating to bring patrons special three-course menus for $15, $25 or $35.  A total of 22 restaurants are participating in Eat Up Downtown.

"This dining promotion will have patrons trying new restaurants or visiting old favorites at unbeatable prices. From casual cafés to fine-dining establishments, this yearly event will offer something for every palate. We will be serving up some delicious seafood signature dishes," said Enver Stermilli, chef at the Wine Cellar restaurant.

There are no coupons to clip or tickets to buy, just simply make reservations with the restaurant of your choice.

New this year, you can also enjoy dinner and a cruise aboard the Foxy Lady Cruises for $45. Prices do not include tax, tip or any additional fees.

Metered parking Downtown is always free after 6 p.m. and on weekends. Additional parking information is available on the participating restaurants' pages as well as through Downtown Vision, Inc.'s parking database.

Organizers say the fun though doesn't end at dessert

"You can take your Eat Up Downtown comment card coupon to 1904 Music Hall, Burro Bar, Dos Gatos or LIT Downtown for special buy-one-get-one drink offers. Drinks included in the deal are at the individual bar's discretion" said Stermilli.

Organizers say there's always something going on Downtown. For other Jacksonville events calendar or can visit The Elbow and other nightlife venues.

Prizes up for grabs include two $25 Jacksonville Landing gift certificates, two pairs of passes to MOCA Jacksonville, a pair of tickets to the opening night of The D*Word, presented by the Artist Series, or two pairs of tickets to the Rick Springfield concert presented by the Florida Theatre.
