ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The city of St. Augustine has released a preliminary financial summary for the Gentlemen of the Road stopover event held at Francis Field on Sept. 13-14.
The summary indicated that the city had revenues of $526,390 and expenses of $533,966, showing a difference of $7,576.
Revenues were $164,952 over what was expected, mostly attributed to more shuttle riders that were expected purchasing wristbands, officials said. Revenues also include $129,485 from the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council.
On the expense size, parking and transit management exceeded budget numbers by $88,245 and site development and public safety by $27,883, officials said.
The city said it is in settlement regarding a few invoices that is not expected to have any material effect on the final report.
