Recipe: S'mores Fun for Adults & Kids

August 10th is National S'mores Day

Just for Grown Ups"
1 lb Dark Coating Chocolate
4 ounces Dried Strawberries
1 ounce Chocolate Godiva Liquor
2 ounces Whole Hazelnuts
4 ounces Granulated Sugar
4 ounces Water
1 ounce Powdered Sugar
Melt Chocolate in Double Boiler on Stove top until smooth
Next pour the warm chocolate into your Favorite Mold

To make Candied Hazelnuts:
Boil Sugar, Water and Hazelnuts for about 5 minutes
Strain the nuts from the water and place on a non stick sheet pan
Sprinkle and toss the nuts with the powdered sugar
Bake for 4-6 minutes at 325 degrees, let cook

Toss the Strawberries with the Godiva Liquor, let sit for 2 minutes, drain off excess liquor
Press the strawberries gently into the chocolate
Next add the Candied Hazelnuts
Place in Refrigerator until chocolate is set, no more than 2 hours is needed
Remove from Molds and store in Airtight container.

"Kids Favorite"
1 lb Dark Coating Chocolate
10 each Golden Oreos, Roughly Chopped
1 bag M&M's, Milk Chocolate
Melt Chocolate in Double Boiler on Stove top until smooth
Next pour the warm chocolate into your Favorite Mold

Let you kids press the golden oreos and M&M's into the chocolate how they like.
Place in Refrigerator until chocolate is set, no more than 2 hours is needed
Remove from Molds and store in Airtight container.
Kids Can Choose any ingredients they prefer including their favorite cereals, Candies, gummy worms etc.

Creating a Shores S'mores
Roast a marshmallow until it is lightly toasted
Place one of the homemade chocolate bars between two graham crackers
Slide the roasted marshmallow between the crackers
EAT and REPEAT!
