JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Tuesday, March 31st,  is our Take it to Heart event and we don't want anything to keep you away.  If you don't have insurance or if you're under-insured you can still get follow up care.  Even with more access, with the Affordable Care Act, close to 13 percent of american adults still don't have healthcare according to a US Gallup poll.

At our Take it to heart event you'll get crucial screenings like blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, and glucose checks.  Participants will also meet with a dietician and a cardiologist to review those numbers and get any questions you might have answered.

But it doesn't have to stop there, some people will need to follow up with a cardiologist or a doctor for further tests. You shouldn't shy away because of the expense, there are options.

We're partnering with Memorial Hospital and they'll have resources on hand to help you take that next step.
