Jaguars take kids Christmas shopping

Armed with $100.00 and a calculator and accompanied by some Jaguars players, 50 children got the shopping spree of a lifetime Tuesday night.

"It's the season for giving, a really awesome event," said Jaguars offensive lineman, Cameron Bradfield.

It's not just an awesome event, but a lesson on what the season of giving is really about; giving to others.

"It's not about the kids themselves, buying a lot of gifts," said Malivia Washington Kids Foundation's founder, Malivia Washington.

Tuesday night the children learned more about what it means to give to others.
"Like some perfume and a sports cap for my Dad," said Quantez O'Neal.

The foundation has helped bring Christmas to children in Jacksonville over the last several years.

"Get to come out here with the kids; for them to be able to get what they want is awesome," said Jaguars offensive lineman Will Rackley.
