Michelle Troconis was arrested Thursday for the second time in the strange saga of missing mother Jennifer Dulos.

Troconis, 44, who is the girlfriend of Dulos' estranged husband, was charged with an additional count of tampering with or fabricating evidence after she turned herself in to state police. Just one day earlier, Fotis Dulos, 52, was arrested and charged with the same offense.

Fotis and Troconis were initially arrested in early June. Fotis was released Wednesday on $500,000 bail. Troconis was released Thursday afternoon on $100,000 bail. Both have scheduled hearings on the new charges next week.

Meanwhile, new details have emerged in mysterious disappearance of the 50-year-old Connecticut mother.

Jennifer was allegedly in the truck of her estranged husband, according to an arrest warrant filed in support of his arrest Wednesday.

Troconis told investigators her boyfriend had his truck cleaned after his wife went missing "because the body of Jennifer at some point was in there," the warrant said.

A "blood-like substance" was also found inside the truck, and it contained Jennifer's DNA, according to the 38-page document.

Fotis has denied any involvement in Jennifer's disappearance.

The truck he is believed to have been driving on the day she vanished actually belonged to one of his employees, the warrant said. The worker told investigators Fotis pressured him to remove the vehicle's seats, and later said he was worried his estranged wife's hair might be in the truck because he had hugged her days before she disappeared, according to the warrant.

The employee ended up putting new seats in the truck, but kept the original ones in case police wanted to test them, the document said. Investigators later discovered the "blood-like substance" on one of the seats.

Jennifer vanished on May 24, after dropping her children at school. Her friends reported her missing that night, saying she had missed several appointments and had been out of communication for 10 hours.

She and her husband were involved in a bitter custody dispute over their five children, and her friends and family told investigators she feared her estranged spouse. Fotis has said that his wife never had anything to fear from him.

The warrant said police believe Fotis was "lying in wait" for Jennifer at her New Canaan home the morning she disappeared.

His girlfriend, Troconis, has also been charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence. She has pleaded not guilty.
