Many women said they had no idea how much information they would learn by coming to Women's Weekend.

"Oh my gosh, we've learned a lot. I didn't expect so many booths, so many vendors, so much turnout, and I didn't know so many things existed that do," said one Women's Weekend goer.

Music, food, dancing and more. Pacita Bristow said she was pleasantly surprised with how much she experienced Friday at Women's Weekend.

Bristow's two daughters also learned some new things and even got some goodies.

"They got a lot of candy, they got a lot of stickers and they've got bag loads of knowledge too to take home with them," said Bristow.

Over 50 vendors had booths set up on Friday and restaurants, insurance agencies, fitness centers and more will be ready to do it again on Saturday.

Bristow said it not only was the event fun and educational, but also convenient, they're even thinking about coming back Saturday.

"The hours are great. It's all day long so we can do an event in the morning and come here, because were doing the strides walk tomorrow and we can come back here," said Bristow.

On Saturday, there will be similar events along with an extra dose of shopping for the entire family. There will also be products and information offered that women will want to know more about for themselves and their families.

Aside from the food, music, makeovers and cooking segments, Channel 4 will also feature successful women in the Jacksonville area.
