Jax man wins '$100K a year for life' scratch-off game

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - A 65-year-old Jacksonville man claimed a top prize in the "Lucky $100,000 a year for life" scratch-off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee on Tuesday.

Jess Croft chose the one-time, lump-sum payment for his winnings in the amount of $1,663,166.64.

He purchased his winning ticket at The Pantry at 1103 Murray Drive in Murray Hill.

The $10 scratch-off game launched on July 13, 2010. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are one in 3.45.
