Atlantic Beach Sailor Says He Was Jumped, Bound, Put In His Truck

Two men and a woman were arrested Sunday evening, accused of kidnapping and robbing a Navy man from Atlantic Beach.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, the 20-year-old victim met a woman at Razzles Nightclub in Daytona Beach and she offered to take him to her home in Palm Coast. He told deputies that when they arrived at the Florida Park Drive home just after 1 a.m. Sunday, he was jumped from behind by two men who pushed him to the ground and began to strangle him.

The victim said he was forced to tell his personal identification number for his ATM card, then his hands and feet were bound with duct tape and he was put in the trunk of his own car and abandoned.

The victim managed to free himself and drove to the Hammock Dune toll bridge, where he contacted the sheriff's office. He was able to lead deputies back to the house, where they made three arrests.

Shakeisha Rho?shundra Watson, 22, of Palm Coast; Willie Clarence Styles III, 27, of Indiantown; and Jessie James Catia Jr., 26, of Belle Glade, were booked into the Flagler County Jail on charges of kidnapping, robbery and aggravated assault.

All three were held on $125,000 bond.
