Double Slaying Suspect Arrested In Georgia

1 Man Already In Jail Charged With Murders

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 27-year-old man wanted in connection with the killing of two men in Arlington home last year is under arrest in Georgia.

Cedric Cutter was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Statesborough, Ga. He was wanted in the March 2007 slayings of 41-year-old David Holmes and 37-year-old Surapol Martin in a house on 8400 block of Lone Star Road.

Police said the shootings took place at 1:30 a.m. in a house full of people.

Cutter is scheduled for an extradition hearing next week.

Cutter is the second person charged in the case. Anthony Vaughan, 23, was arrested one year ago and remains in the Duval County jail awaiting trial.
