ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A man is being sought in connection with an armed robbery at a State Road 16 motel Thursday night.
Deputies were called to the Best Western in the 2400 block of State Road 16 at 9:50 p.m.

A 28-year-old employee said the robber walked into the lobby with his head down and approached the front desk. The robber brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash drawer, deputies said.
The employee placed an undisclosed amount of cash into a bag and handed it to the robber, who then ran out the front door.
The robber is described as a white man with a thin build. He was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black bandanna around his face.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
