Neighbors told Channel 4 it was a bizarre case of domestic violence that neighbors said involved two houses. One where police said the crime happened. The other where neighbors said the suspect tried to get rid of the weapon.

?She went across the street to the house," one neighbor said, who wanted to remain anonymous. "(She) asked to use the bathroom, which was no problem, they didn?t know what was going on.?

The neighbor said the woman dumped off the knife used in the stabbing in a trash can, and left like nothing had happened.

?After she come back out, the gentleman that lives in the house went in to the bathroom, found a knife in their trash can, brought it outside and showed JSO," he said.

Police told Channel 4 the woman lied repeatedly about her story and denied her involvement. The victim was listed in serious but stable condition Sunday afternoon at Shands.
