ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Two men and a woman have been charged in connection with several Walgreens robberies and a high-speed chase that resulted in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon.
Trevor LeFranc, 20, and Sergey Kozlov, 25, both of Utah, and Kimberly Kozlov, 23, of Jacksonville, were booked into the St. Johns County Jail after being treated at a hospital after the crash. Deputies said they all played a part in the robberies.
LeFranc's bail is $150,000, Kimberly Kozlov's bail is $100,000 and Sergey Kozlov's bail is $150,000. They are charged with grand theft and robbery.
Deputies from Flagler County and St. Johns County chased the suspects' vehicle that they said was wanted in connection with Walgreens pharmacy robberies in Volusia County, St. Johns County and Lake City.
All three were arrested at the scene of the crash on U.S. Highway 1 South, just north of state Road 206.
Deputies said the suspect vehicle, a gray Ford pickup truck with a Utah license plate, was spotted in Volusia County and was pursued into Flagler County. The chase continued into St. Johns County via A1A South and then westbound on state Road 206. Flagler County deputies chased the vehicle into St. Johns County at speeds of nearly 100 mph before the rollover crash, deputies said.
Deputies said they deployed spike strips as the truck turned off state Road 206 onto U.S. 1. They said the truck eventually veered into a patrol car and rolled over. Deputies said one man was thrown from the car and tried to run away but was quickly caught. All three were taken to Flagler Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One deputy's car was damaged, but no deputies were injured.
Deputies had been looking for a man who they said robbed a Walgreens pharmacy in the 100 block of Blackford Way near U.S. Highway 1 South just after 2 p.m. Wednesday. They said that man was LeFranc.
Deputies said the man was also believed to be wanted in connection with a similar robbery of a Walgreens pharmacy in Holly Hill in Volusia County on Tuesday, and Lake City police said the same man robbed a Walgreens pharmacy on April 8.
Deputies said Sergey Kozlov was driving during the pursuit Thursday afternoon. He faces numerous traffic related charges. Deputies said he and Kimberly Kozlov each assisted in the robberies.
