Man Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of receiving child pornography over the Internet.

Zacchaeus Crawford, 25, faces between five and 20 years in prison and a potential life term of supervised release when he's sentenced. He was arrested Aug. 19.

According to court documents, an undercover agent with the FBI in Phoenix signed into a particular Internet file sharing program to identify people who were trafficking and sharing child pornography. The agent determined that an individual using the username Slidenskate was logged into the network.

The agent browsed Slidenskate?s shared directories and found that multiple images depicting child pornography were being publicly shared by Slidenskate, according to the documents.

A few days later, the same FBI agent logged onto the same Internet file sharing program and saw that Slidenskate was logged into the network, according to the documents. The agent downloaded 168 images and 16 videos directly from two of Slidenskate?s three shared directories, according to the documents. Many of the images and videos depicted child pornography, prosecutors said.

Investigators later found that the host computer used by Slidenskate was located at Crawford's home, prosecutors said.

Agents seized a desktop computer used by Crawford, prosecutors said. They said that during an interview, Crawford admitted that he had downloaded images of child pornography and said he ?had a feeling? that he ?would be in jail for a few years.?

Prosecutors said forensic analysis of Crawford?s computer revealed two internal hard drives that contained about 205,000 images, including at least 500 images and at least 100 videos depicting minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
