Officers said they found 51-year-old Vivian Lott dead from several stab wounds. They said 56-year-old Robert Long had a stab wound to the chest, and 18-year-old Melani Houston had a stab wound to the back.

Eric Marroquin, the suspect in the stabbings, fled the scene in Long's pickup truck, police said. They said an officer spotted the truck just before midnight and chased it.

The chase ended on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at Third Avenue in Brunswick when Marroquin crashed into a tree and fled on foot, police said. They said Marroquin was caught soon after and arrested.

Police said Long was Lott's boyfriend, and Houston was Marroquin's girlfriend. Police said Marroquin and Houston lived at the home with Lott, Marroquin's mother. Long did not live there.

Long and Houston were treated and released from a hospital.

Marroquin is charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault and possession of tools during the commission of a crime.
