CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A 28-year-old man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 17, just north of the Black Creek Bridge, on Friday morning.
State troopers said Willie Christmas, 28, of Green Cove Springs, was traveling north in an erratic manner for unknown reasons just before 8 a.m.

Troopers said Christmas' car drove off the right side of the road and into a ditch, striking a concrete culvert. It then overturned.
Christmas was pulled from the car and taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers said blood alcohol content results are pending for Christmas.
Traffic was backed up along U.S. 17 after the crash.
