Coyote Prowls Along Channel 4 Lawn

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A surprise four-legged guest visited Channel 4 early Tuesday morning.

Photographer Mark Clanton was packing up a van and getting ready to go out and start his day when he spotted a coyote sniffing around and enjoying a meal on the station's front lawn.

This is the latest wildlife to visit Channel 4.

Frogs are usually among the most common animals seen around the station on the Southbank, and every once in a while a snake slithers into the parking lot.

But a coyote? This just may be a first.
