JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A pedestrian was hit early Tuesday crossing Penman Road at Marvone Lane in Neptune Beach.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an older man was hit at about 6:40 a.m. and was transported to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center. According to the FHP, the man's injuries were not life-threatening.
Channel 4's Emily Turner talked to the driver, who said it was foggy and he did not see the man in time to avoid hitting him.
Troopers said the man may be homeless. They said he didn't have an ID.
