Guests evacuated after sprinklers flood hotel

PALM COAST, Fla. – Flagler County officials said several guests at the Holiday Inn in Palm Coast were evacuated after fire sprinklers flooded the first and second floors of the hotel.

Fire officials said the alarms went off about 2 p.m. Saturday, prompting an emergency response.

When fire officials arrived, they found no fire and were trying to find out what triggered the sprinkler system.

Deputies said hotel staff are relocating all guests from this hotel to another one in the area while the building was check.
