Drugs in Nutella jar lands woman in jail
Neptune Beach woman told police she was supposed to take package to Miami
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Accepting delivery of a package containing a jar of Nutella landed a 22-year-old Neptune Beach woman in jail.
According to the arrest report, Emily Fregger told narcotics detectives the package was supposed to contain a special brand of peanut butter found only in California sent for her birthday. After Fregger gave permission for narcotics detectives permission to open the package, they found a jar of Nutella inside that had obviously been previously opened. Inside there were several sets of purple latex gloves. One contained powder cocaine; another contained esctacy; and another contained oxycodone.
Detectives said when confronted with the drugs, Fregger admitted she was supposed to take the drugs to friends in Miami.
Fregger was charged with multiple counts of possession of drugs and booked into the Duval County jail.
