ORANGE PARK, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff's Offic eand Shred-It are inviting the public to shred old bank statements, credid card offers, cancelled checks, pay stubs and anything else you wouldn't want crooks to obtain.
The "Shred Days" event to beat identity theft runs from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at lot the corner of Park Avenue and Wells Road, just across from the Orange Park Kennel Club.

Each person can bring up to three standard boxes of paper to shred. Trash, cans, newspapers and anything with a lot of metal will not be accepted.
