JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For many people, watching Tim Tebow play is just like watching any other athlete. For Jacob Carter, it's like looking into a mirror.
On Friday night, the Jacksonville Suns hosted a Tim Tebow look-a-like contest. Baker County high school freshman Jacob Carter took home the title, and scored two tickets to the Jets vs. Jaguars game.
"I had never seen anybody that looks like Tebow besides me," said Carter.
Carter admitted that he and Tebow share more than a similar haircut. Like the Heisman Trophy winner, Carter is quarterback for his team, the JV Baker County Bobcats.
Carter said he and Tebow have similar playing styles on the field, too.
"I run a lot better than I throw, and Tebow is that same way. I don't try to play like him. I just try to do my best out there and use the best of my abilities," said Carter.
Carter said people started comparing him to the football star when he was 10-years-old.
He said he's happy to be compared to a role model like Tim, and hopes to meet his look-a-like at the Jets vs. Jags game.
So what's your take? Do they look alike?
