BUNNELL, Fla. – A Bunnell man was arrested on possession of child pornography charges.
Agents in Alexandria Bay, N.Y., arrested Merhl Shamblin Thursday morning as he tried to cross the border with goods he was hauling in his truck.

Flagler County deputies said Shamblin, 51, had taken his computer to a Palm Coast repair shop in October 2010.
Deputies said Shamblin deleted files off his computer before giving it to the store owner. Deputies said the store owner saw several images of naked girls as Shamblin worked on the computer.
Deputies found 928 images on Shamblin's computer. He faces 40 counts of possession of child pornography as some images were duplicates, according to deputies.
Shamblin's bond was set at $400,000.
