Palm Coast bank robber sought

PALM COAST, Fla. – Flagler County deputies are looking for a man they said robbed a Bank of America in Palm Coast on Thursday morning.

Deputies said the man went robbed the bank in the 4800 block of Belle Terre Parkway just after 11 a.m.

No one was injured and the robber reportedly fled the scene on foot.

The robber is described as a white man, about 35 years old, 6 feet tall, wearing a dark blue cap, white T-shirt and khaki shorts. He has short, light brown hair.

Investigators said the man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen, but the robber implied he was armed, deputies said.

"We believe this is not the first bank robbery this man has committed, and we are working with other law enforcement agencies to identify him," said Flagler County Sheriff Donald Fleming.
