CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A 50-year-old Clay County man has been arrested on multiple counts of indecent exposure in public.

Clay County deputies said they arrested George Hager after an undercover operation in Fleming Island.

Hager has an extensive history involving similar sex crimes. However, deputies said that because these are misdemeanor charges, Hager doesn't meet the criteria by law for a sex offender of sexual predator designation, nor the restrictions and monitoring that accompanies that.

As a result, deputies said they want to notify the community of his arrest and of his ongoing criminal activity, such as exposing himself to women who walk, jog and ride past his home on County Road 220.

Hager was being held in the Clay County jail with bail set at $50,000.

Deputies said there is a good possibility that there are additional victims, and they are asked to call the Clay County Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512 and request to speak with the Detective K. Padgett to report any additional information.
