Man charged in aggravated assault

More arrests, charges pending


BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A Brunswick man accused of shooting another man has been arrested.

Police said Deandre Humphreys, 20, turned himself into Glynn County police on Tuesday.

Police said Humphreys shot another man in the 200 block of N Street on Sunday afternoon.

The victim was taken to Southeast Georgia Health System.

The victim was hit once, resulting in a broken rib, punctured diaphragm, and damaged to his spleen, said police. The victim's condition wasn't immediately released.

Humphreys is charged with aggravated assault. More charges and arrests are pending.
