1534 Oak Street
Construction continues on 1534 Oak Street in Five Points. According to the Architect, Design/Cooperative 1534 Oak Street will establish a unique multi-use building in the heart of the vibrant and diverse 5 Points neighborhood. Through the addition of office space, Jacksonville's first true rooftop lounge, and a new restaurant from the team behind Chew and Restaurant Orsay, the project will make an important contribution to the ongoing revitalization of 5 Points.
The mixed use building will be three stories with a roof top lounge. The floor plates are approximately 6,400 sq.ft. with an overall building area of approximately 24,000 sq. ft. The project strives to strengthen the pedestrian experience in the 5 points area and creates a new "destination" for Jacksonville residents.
Sam Jackson, former owner of Moe's (location of Shanty Town Pub), continues to work on his latest venue, The Buzz. This project will be a bistro serving early morning coffee and breakfast, as well as dinner.
